Our sitters are more than happy to help in other ways, too - like watering the plants, collecting the mail, taking out the trash, and other tasks around the house. Or just plain old house sitting, pets or not!

Safety precautions amid COVID-19
In light of the impact of COVID-19 in these past several months, I recently took an online course through Pet Sitters International to learn more about safety precautions for pet sitters. I want to provide all of our clients - both current and new - with the protocols that we will have in place as we resume providing cat care services. These measures are meant to protect both our clients and our sitters.
Every sitter is required to wear a FACE MASK for the entirety of each visit to your home. They will wash their hands as soon as they arrive and right before they leave. They will bring their own antiseptic cleaning wipes (ex: Clorox, Lysol brand) and will clean all surfaces that they touch - both before beginning their cat care duties and right before leaving your home. All sitters are also required to carry hand sanitizer that is at least 60% alcohol.
We are only conducting VIRTUAL MEETINGS for new clients (FaceTime, Skype, etc.) to limit face-to-face contact, at least for the time being. I understand that this does not provide you and the sitter the ideal way to connect and go over the cat's routine. If the sitter needs to be given keys to your home, you and your sitter can arrange a meeting outside for the hand-off.
